Join the chocolate revolution with the Cacao Bar!

It's a blend of our ceremonial cacao from Uganda and Allulose, an all-natural sweetener. After finding these wonderful beans, we knew they would be the perfect flavor profile with their rich chocolate notes and low bitterness. The bar is blended to have a cacao-forward flavor, (not a sugar-laden one), so it tastes like a dark, 85% bar. Wonderfully tasty!

Tasting Notes: Classic rich chocolate with low bitter

Allulose is classified as a natural 'rare sugar'. Figs, beets, corn, and raisins have small quantities of allulose. As it's a natural sweetener, it has the mouthfeel of sugar but "at least 90% is excreted by the kidneys without being metabolized. This means that in a functional sense, allulose has 95% fewer calories than sucrose and is why the FDA determined in 2019 that it does not need to be listed under total or added sugar." So you get to experience the sweetness, but not the negative health effects of conventional sugars.

Amazing cacao, amazing company!

I love all the products I've bought from embue including their latest eating cacao bar - so pure, so clean, so delicious. I'm giving them to friends as gifts! I'm a devotee of the one pound cacao bar and the one pound cacao powder. The powder I use as more every day cacao and the bar I reserve for ceremonies in groups. Wonderful to have options! And embue is so easy to order from. I cannot recommend enough.

Adicted To Cacao

I started mixing a brew for Cacao Ceremonies then graduated to adding a tablespoon to my strong, otherwise unadulterated morning coffee. I Loved my strong AM coffee, now I LOVE it even more!

Thanks for producing clean single source cacao without all the middle people :-)

True Nurturance

This eating bar is a unique addition to the chocolate space and one that surprised me immensely. I have always been drawn to what I thought were high quality 92-100% bars but this one totally surpasses them, especially since it's made with love and intention and comprised of ceremonial cacao. I can feel and taste the same quality that Moses imbues into everything he shares with the world. Also love the allulose and its prebiotic quality. I've been enjoying a few squares later in the day after my morning cacao ritual. Beautiful, healthful and nourishing product all around!

Best Cacao

Love embue cacao. I drink it without adding any sweetener because it's so good.

Pure Cacao Flavor

Semuliki Forest, Uganda

In western Uganda, lies the town of Bundibugyo, in the foothills of the Rwenzori mountain range. Here, thousands of smallholder farmers are using "absurdly tasty chocolate as a tool for creating local jobs and sustainably improving incomes for smallholder cocoa farmers throughout Uganda". These award winning beans are a real win-win!

Micro Batches

These amazing beans are hand crafted in micro batches to draw out the rich cacao notes. We roast in small batches to ensure consistency, grindthe nibs & allulose to get that silky cacao liquid and then temper in the final mold so you hear that wonderful snap as you break off a piece.
