Shipping policy

 

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout. 

We do not offer expedited or overnight shipping. 

Summer Shipping. If temperatures are to exceed 85° in your location, we highly recommend adding the Cold-Packed Shipping Option. Even with the cold packs, we cannot guarantee that your cacao won't melt in transit, as there are too many variables outside our control.  For more on summer shipping, see this page. We do not offer refunds or replacements for melted cacao. 

Cold-packed orders ONLY ship Monday - Wednesday, to avoid having them sit around over the weekend. 

Melted Cacao. Melted cacao is completely fine to use. It does not harm the flavor or nutritional content. If it happens, let it cool and re-harden, and then shave it up and use as normal. 

We deliver to all locations in the U.S. and all countries listed in our drop-down menu. If your country isn't listed, send us an email, and we can check on adding it for you. 

Packages not delivered because of customer error in the shipping address can be re-shipped if the original package is returned in adequate condition. In this circumstance, we charge for purchasing a second label and will be in touch about the cost and correcting the address. 

Customs & Duties for international destinations are not the responsibility of embue cacao. We aren't able to calculate them for each destination and order, so please look into them yourself before ordering. 

Once we have shipped your item, you can no longer cancel your order, as the package has already left and is en route.
