Now Hiring - Production Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a hard-working & detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our Cacao Shop. You will be joining a small team & family business to help us expand our production capacity. Embue Cacao is a growing business, operating an online business selling 100% pure ceremonial cacao. The Production Assistant will work on all aspects of production, from cacao bean through to finished product. 

Duties May Include

• Cacao Bean Sorting
• Roasting
• Winnowing
• Loading & unloading refiner
• Operating food processor
• Operating weigh packer & packaging product
• Order Fulfillment 

Qualifications

• Hard-working: ability to work in a physically demanding environment for an entire shift
• Attention to detail: As a food production facility, detail is important in producing the best-quality final product, shipped directly to consumers. 
• Physically Capable: Must be able to occasionally lift 60lb boxes, drag 130lb bags, and generally be active throughout the shift
• Responsible: Be timely, learn from mistakes, and be open to feedback
• Positive Attitude:  We are a small team, so a positive attitude is essential

 

Pay: $18-$22/hr
Hours: 30-40 Hours/Week

The hours/week will vary depending on production needs. We expect the position to grow into full-time hours and greater responsibility for the right person.
